neighbourhood centre - apartments and retail units

Developed to integrate 17no. 1 and 2 person affordable housing units with 3 retail units to provide a focus to a new housing estate in Cippenham.  The buildings ranging from 2 to 4 storeys were arranged to create a new plaza area with the shops as a backdrop.  Curved Zinc roofing made for readily identifiable and landmark forms amidst the general housing. Nick completed this project whilst at Clive Chapman Architects.
